Due to so many questions weekly that we receive and so much uncertainty as to how to calculate actual costs (including early locked in purchase price agreements, as well as CPI which is averaging 2.8%/yearly, NOT BEING ABLE TO RECOGNIZE WHICH POSITIONS ARE THE BETTER DEALS, I put the following examples together to help illustrate realistic purchase prices, premiums being yielded, and current realistic market sale prices, so that you can quickly compare "apples" to "apples" when shopping for an early jet position.
This way, buyers and sellers can be "matched quickly with everyone being on the same page" and more importantly, this can serve as a reference aid to buyers so that they can quickly figure out their total true costs of what THEIR aircraft position/aircraft actually costs them at the time of delivery (Note: These are estimated prices and you should consult a good aviation law firm and cpa firm with aviation tenure to figure out any tax breaks, etc):
